My son won this tadpole at the fair. I have no idea what kind of tadpole it is or how to take care of it. Can anyone help us?

Wow, some prize lol....Not a frog expert and relatively new to keeping frogs myself but a few things I would guess are bullfrog, green frog or leopard frog. Not really sure but you can try looking up those kind of tadpoles or froglets on the internet and see if they match what you have appearance and size wise till you get more responses. Best of luck!!

Here is a chart listing the types of tadpoles and their features, you should be able to identify easily from that! Tadpole Identification Table
2.0.3 Hyla versicolor "Eastern Gray Tree Frogs"
2.2.0 Agalychnis callidryas "Red Eyed Tree Frogs"

0.0.3 Dendrobates auratus "Turquoise and Bronze"
    0.0.1 Anaxyrus fowleri "Fowler's Toad"

It looks like a bullfrog to me. Whatever it is it will eat flaked fish food - like goldfish food. It will also produce a lot of waste, which means that the water will need to be kept clean. If you use tap water make sure that it's dechlorinated and that the replacement water is the same temperature as that in the tank, otherwise you may physically shock the tadpole.

That also looks like an american bullfrog to me. I fed my bullfrog tadpole sinking algae tablets from Walmart and he seemed to like them. The only problem I had was that he ate the tablets so slowly that they fell apart in the water before he finished them. Hope you enjoy watching your tadpole grow and change. It's a great experience!
