I have two white's tree frogs. I am concerned about one of them right now though. He has a large lump on his back. I am not sure if this has to do with his intestines or not. He is being active as normal and still trying to interact with me but I am worried that he is sick or in pain. Anyone have an idea of what could be wrong? He or she is approximately 7 months old
Here is a picture of his current state. The water looks dirty, I know. I had to find out the hard way that a certain brand of moss will dye the water jacuzzi green and i refuse to bleach it.
Please help. I'm so worried about Jesús. I think his tank buddy Jorge is worried also![]()
I just took another look at him. The lump is still there and I am now wondering if it is a cyst or something. This was not there at 12 pm today and was noticed about 10 pm tonight. He's my baby and i am really worried![]()
Looks like he's going to need to go to a herp vet asap.
oh no that is not possible. there isn't a herp vet around here. if it isn't furry then there is no help.
You can give Dr. Frye a try. Take some clear photos of the issue, give him any symptoms, origin of the frog and explain your husbandry setup and hopefully he can help you.

ugh i have no idea what is going on. this is how his skin looks today over the lump. could it be some sort of skin disease? or infection? that i can try to treat at home. the area circled is the problem.
Poor baby, I hope you get help for him asap![]()
turns out it was a wound. how it happened i have no idea. he is slowly getting better. i am having to apply wound care liquid which is healing him very nicely and quickly. i am also giving him "baths" in malachite green. he is returning to his normal happy self![]()
Good news!! I'm happy that he is going to be okay :x
Phew! It is good to hear your frog is healing. I know how worried you must have been.
