I noticed that my whites tree frog had a nematode parasite in his eye. His behavior hasn't changed and his stool is still solid. I ordered Panacur C but today I was talking to a pet store owner that also breeds some reptiles. He said if its in his eye, Panacur will have little effect as it only kills intestinal parasites, which makes sense. He told me to either pluck it out with tweezers if i could (I can't its under his membrane) or use Quick Cure. Quick Cure is used for treating fish parasites and is dropped into water. He said to place a drop on the eye and that it wouldn't damage the eye. The two ingrediants are formalin and malachite green. Is it ok to do this? Should it be diluted first (after all it says to add 1 drop/gallon water for trating fish). Advice would be greatly appreciated!
