Hey All,
Well, I finally brought home a display rack to utilize for locating all my vivs and tanks in one location.
The rack is from a place I was employed and when they closed the business last year (I moved into the parent company) some of the rack from clothing displays were set aside for the taking.
This rack is huge and as wide as my queen size bed.
The rack consists of three metal shelves that have wood accents. The main base and upright supports are 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 all wood beams. The rack will allow mounting of shelves on both sides and each shelf would hold 6 ten gallon tanks setup vertically.
Now, the rack this is to be located in my bed room which is my get a way and my home theater room which creates somewhat of a problem. Since the rack only fits at the end of the bed and once set up, totally blocks viewing the TV, making assess to each side of the bed a little tight. This usually wouldn't be an issue for most but since I anm a really hi-end audio nut, the thousands I have tied up in speakers, amplifier, turntables and then video equipment makes having it all setup and not used a waste.
I'll have keep it set up for a bit until I make a decision on whether the home theater is going to be missed and the frogs location needs to return to the original locations or if the nice easy access and better 360 viewing is what I would rather have.
I will miss having the Whites next to my head at night since they were always in view and entertaining where they were at.
Below are more pics of the rack.
