Nursing home. That sounds like dementia.

Wow. That had to be one heck of a night...
We've had similar problems (well... not similar to that incident, but issues with normally 'with it' older family members suddenly going bonkers and doing illegal/dangerous things). If there's no other family member for her to stay with and she's trying to break into your house and other things like that, then you can try to get Right of Attorney. Then you could get her into a long-term care facility and avoid involving the police if you don't want to.

Glad none of your frogs were harmed!

I would have her removed from the house. She has already said she should have done away with you when you were young. What if she tries to rectify that situation? You can't leave, because she'll take out your pets. You need to get her help. My grandma's going through the same thing. She is angry half the time and weepy the other half.

I guess every household had their stories.I'm not on any side just reading your story here. All i could say is try to get along with your grandma. If their's some reason your grandma act so crazy, find her some help.Love your family member while they still here.Think about your family always be first. That just my personally opinion to you.Hoping your and your grandma could find a way to get along with each other.

Thanks for the support and all but she is moved back to her place now and can suddenly take care of herself again. I was sure to see that she actually could take care of herself before leaving her though. I think she was just lonely because she has turned all her neighbors against her and has nobody left to ridicule and bestow hate toward.
My frogs have yet to emerge sense the incident, but they should get hungry soon.
