    Default So exciting!

    Hey everyone!

I know that I have not posted all the time but now that it is summer I am going to try and do better at this forum, but I want y'all to know I read every post and loves looking at the photos (and am Patiently waiting to see who wins the last photo contest). I have had my clown tree frogs for a little over a month and man are they very cool. One of them is extremely bold. He is the first one out from his sleeping hiding spot and sits on the vines near where I put the fruit flies each night. He also never hides when I shine the flashlight on them whenever I go in at night to see what they are doing! The other one is a big scaredy cat, taking longer to come out after I turn of the lights and goes to hide if I shine the lights in there. And they call (at least I think both call, I know for sure the bold one does, but I swear it seems they both do). And it is so loud! We can hear them over the tv most of the time...now the only thing I wonder to myself is why I didn't become a frog owner sooner! I will try to take pictures of the frogs tonight to upload.

I have a female clown but I will probably get her a comanion this summer so hopefully I will get to hear some calling too. My clown was a bit of a scaredy cat when I first got her. It took about 3-4 months and now she is fine. She will still bolt when I open the cage and it is extremely difficult to catch her but she now will come out and sit on the leaves right up in front and look out. Give your other one a little time and I'm sure he/she will eventually come out of his/her shell and you will have two frogs looking to entertain you. Although, just watch out the frog hobby is very addicting...it's almost impossible to stop with just one species.
