Sorry for my long absence... College has been a pain!
Here's a few pics of my pacman since it's been so long...
Held of on a name since im not sure of the sex yet, maybe one of you can tell? (I think it's a male...)
I usually keep the red light on, but swapped for the daylight one to get a good pic
As usual, any feedback would be great!
P.S. He had his first pinky today!![]()
your keeping it on dry substrate, and tying to cook it with a freaking heat lamp? whatevs idk any more. people are ****in retarded. Wet the dirt, buy a damn heating pad, and a glass top![]()
dude chill the dirt is wet, I mist 4 times a day...
it looks dry cause:
1) its under a RED LAMP!
2) it was taken with a CELL PHONE!
You have a nice frog all my pacs are on the type setup besides my adults are in 3 storage container it keeps good humidity and good for more then 3 frogs i nevered used a heat pad in my yrs of dealing wit pacs But nice setup and frog show its belly then i could tell you what it is
![]()
can you not see the water droplets on the glass?
Pac, I'll try but im not sure if he'll cooperate with me on that one, hes definitely a hopper :P
Your setup looks fine. That's a nice looking frog! How old is it and how big? That can help with sexing them. Also if it's ever called, that means it's a male, but you probably knew that.![]()
lol! yes i did know that :P
got him back in mid February, and he was really small when i got him, about the size of a quarter. Now hes about the size of a ping-pong ball, maybe smaller...
just saying he because i think its a male from what I know... he seems to have little nubbles on his front toes with, to my understanding, indicates a male.
no calling yet though!
Hey Bruce, sorry about that. My 12yr old neighbor got my password and went crazy with power. Your set up does look a little dry, but your frog looks great! So how ever you're doing it, keep it up.![]()
lol! its all good, I kinda figured something was up since i know ur a pretty frequent member here... hah!
I have been misting all the time and after asking several local pesstores (my friend is a manager at petsmart and is mainly in charge of the reptile section, has some crazy stuff...) said that the airflow would be compromised even of it was slightly open like you suggested, and said that is more of a priority than humidity...
So, im just wondering how do you keep the air fresh in the tank with a glasstop?
