Hello Dumpy lover.. Do you have any pics of your new frog and his enclosure? How long have you had him? Take a look at the care article on the left and welcome to the forum.

Welcome. If you have any questions these people here can answer all your questions. I am learning about my dumpy tree frog still and we have had him for two months I think and I found this site after a month and now have one happy frog.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Can't wait to get our Dumpies! I unexpectedly fell in love with the fire-bellies that my daughter bought for a class project while student teaching. Never expected to enjoy frogs! I was nervous about getting the Dumpies in case I unintentionally hurt them but you all are making me feel better because I know help is near if questions come up. Glad I stumbled across the Forum!

Welcome to Frog Forum! How funny.... My addiction to frogs started like you, with a Cuban tree frog and a pair of fire-bellied toads.... A frog room later...

Any help you need on setting up your White's enclosure, you let us know. We will make sure to guide you through and assist you building the most comfortable tank for your little ones.

Thanks! I actually do have a question-- My husband is building about a 70 gallon custom Terrarium similar to the ExoTerras- 3 ft. tall since they are tree frogs. Yet I have read that the cage needs to be smaller at first. If we get tiny Whites, (1 to 2 inches is the size I am seeing most often for sale) do we need to start out with a smaller enclosure? How soon do you think they could go in the 70 gallon? Do we need to gradually go up in size? I don't have access to a lot of different sizes of tanks which is why my husband is building the big one in the first place.
