New to frogging

I am new to having frogs, I have what I think are 2 tree frogs, one is still a tad pole just growing legs and the other is in the frog state maybe 3/8 of an inch. I just dropped in some crickets that are pin heads to a 1/4 inch, I have seen the frog try to get one, but don't know if it has gotten any, are these ok or should I try and get some small flightless fruit flies.

Yes, go with fruit flies or pin-head crickets.
