Superworm issue

I just finished feeding a superworm to my pixie frog. Kermit is about 2 3/4 inches long. About 30 seconds after he ate the worm, I saw the shape of the worm moving inside Kermit like it was trying to poke through his side like something from a horror movie. Is this normal?

He is ok now. He was ok during the whole thing. It didn't seem like it hurt him, and he ate some crickets afterward with no problem.

when you say super worm do you mean nightcarawlers if so its normal as my frogs are trying to grab worms, the ones they have already eaten are trying to get back out lol, but if it is something else just make sure it has not got pincers that could hurt the frogs stomach,

It wasn't a nightcrawler. It was labeled as a superworm. It does have pincer jaws, so I crushed their heads from that point on. Kermit didn't seem to suffer any ill effects. It was just a bit scary to see.

It's quite normal to see the superworm moving around inside of a frogs stomach.

i feed something similar called fruit grubs, like you i nip there heads before i feed them as they give a hell of a bite, but even with there heads nip they still wriggle inside the frog for a while,
