 Re: C.joazeirensis
Sweet man, I picked up one of these about a month or so ago and he/she has grown on me quickly. I find them to be a little less voracious than Ornata and even Cranwelli, but still just a beautiful frog.

 Re: C.joazeirensis
I didn't get a chance to see the adults in the flesh but I presume they are about the size of the ornates or cranwells or a tad larger. I was told that these were mistakenly classified as auritas initially but don't think any of them achieved the legendary sizes...
 Re: C.joazeirensis
 Re: C.joazeirensis
From what I know they are actually significantly smaller than Ornata and even Cranwelli. I think females, which are larger in this species as well, top out at around 4 and a half inches.

 Re: C.joazeirensis
In my opinion the Ceratoprhys joazeirensis is similar C.aurita to but smaller. I am South American and I've seen before me.The most important feature of the horns above the eye, very pronounced in this species.
Look at the difference between Aquaplayer picture, and the kattivo.
Aquaplay frog, it seems more a C.stolzmanni.
Maybe I'm wrong but it is my opinion.

In the pictures Japanese, is very noticeable.
But maybe not so much your photos. Also maybe even a very small frog to be seen clearly.
Congratulations on your great collection. Lacks only a few species to have the widest range of Ceratoprhys available.
Greetings from Argentina.
