    so do red eye's do well at room temperature??and do they require uv light?

    Frogs don't requre the lights... the plants in your tank might... My red eyes I have at room temp... but I turn the under tank heater (90 degrees I think) on at night in this weather... they go down to 68 at night I read... the under tank heater has 3 inches of peat moss above it so they wont get burned... my red eyes stay in the plants and go to the water bowl... the heater is just under one 1/2 of the bottom of the tank I have them in. Most houses are good temps for the frogs... my grays I don't heat at night since they are from my state. Good Luck... I realy like my Red Eyes...
