Suriname toad?

For Christmas I got a baby African clawed frog, about 1.5 inches long, and a peninsula newt and a bunch of fish (the fish died, I'm no good with fish). I have this 45 gallon tank that I keep them in.
I've done some research, and I was wondering if one of those little captive-bred Suriname toads would be okay to keep. They sound really neat, but I don't want my clawed frog or my newt to get eaten.

Any Aquatic frog will try to eat anything they can fit into their mouth... that includes your newt sooner or later once the Africian gets larger. I don't have direct experience with Surname toads but I imagine they fall under the same rule of thumb.

Yeah eventually the newt will be lunch.

Suriname toads are best kept by themselves, like clawed frogs, they eat anything they can get in their mouth. Suriname toads are kept like clawed frogs except they need much more room and little higher temperatures. They are very fascinating creatures.

Thanks for the help! I recently got a new tank for the newt (as well as another newt) and a separate tank for the frog so I can try fish again...The fish are doing well, so it was just the shop I got them at. Thanks again!
