Currently I have a leopard frog that I have raised as a tadpole until present day. I recently acquired a whites tree frog a couple days ago and had a question Could I put the two together in the same enclosure? The enclosure I have is quite large and could fit both comfortably. The leopard frog is almost full grown and the whites tree frog is full grown. Is this possible? If anybody has any info let me know.![]()
I would not do it. There's just to much that can go wrong. White's are tropical, leopards are temperate. There is a chance of cross contamination and cross infection. And its quite possible the White's may eat your leopard frog.
Rule of thumb is keep all enclosures species specific. One species per tank. There are exceptions, of course, but these should only be attempted by those with a lot of experience and then only with very closely related species, preferably from the same region.
Thanks for the quick answer.
I totally feel the same way about everything you said I was just making sure. I just had a doubtful moment there. I guess my whites tree frog will have a very spacious home
Thank you!!![]()
