I found this frog while camping. I don't know what kind of frog he is but he is very small, he's kind of green, he has sticky feet, black eyes, and his back feet are webbed. If you could identify him that would be great because I need to know what kind of habitat he needs, I already know he eats crickets.
Looks like a Cricket Frog, Acris crepitans.
Yep definetly a cricket.
Thanks, I thought it was a Northern Cricket Frog but I just wanted to be sure. Do you have any suggestions on what kind of habitat he needs? Also since he has sticky feet does that mean he's a tree frog?
Ya that is definitely a Cricket Frog. It'll need a water/land environment. I recommend having a marsh like setup. Have a large water dish that is about 1 inch deep, lots of moss and other live plants native to New England area for a realistic look and feel for your frog. They are small frogs , so a 5 gallon would be suitable. Moderate humidity, no special lighting needed and I would keep temps in the low 70's to 75 during the day, with a drop at night. Feed small insects, chopped worms, etc. P.S. Those frogs are great jumpers.
