    Default Light reliability

I am havings some major issues with the Day blue incandescent bulbs from both zilla and zoo med. Both brands i have always respected for quality. I love them because the do not seem to overdry the substrate and the color is great. They are just soooo inconsistent on how long they last. Some last 2 weeks and others months. It is always when i turn them on. They never just stop.

Does anyone have advice on a great bulb for reliability? I will move away from the blue if need be too.

Also any input on why they would blow only when turning them on.

    thanks!
