Question about sanitizing tank

I was just wondering if I can sanitize the tank my Cane Toad was in and make is safe for something else? I'm not planning to get anything any time soon, I'm still totally heart broken over Nesi's passing. But its a fairly large tank and I'd hate to just have to toss it, but when I went into my local reptile store to get crickets today they seemed really unsure about it. I know I have to get rid of all the substrate and plants and such. If I can what should I use to sanitize it?

A 10 percent bleach solution should do the trick. I let things soak in it before washing it out completely and letting it air dry.
