It's not just the frogs eithor, I have numerous tank builds in my head. Although i have yet to build one. The plant junky in me naturaly braught me to own frogs. And I love it.

the yellow eyes just dropped in price, were 10x the cost before. A breakthrough in breeding helped me aquire these from Josh's frogs. They get big 4 inches. And are extremly endangered. Buy captives only please.

I may have not done a real build yet, but my tanks are still stuffed with plants. Always double and tripple check different toxicity lists. Some plants are on recomended lists for frogs are toxic.

    hi gingerlee
its always good to here of a breaktrough in captive breeding & it defo helps with not having to buy wild caught. here in ireland we dont have any tree frogs breeders, there are a few breeding pision arrows frogs thats about it.
we go to the european expo's in germany(hamm) & holland(houten) to buy our animals be it snakes, lizards or frogs.snakes n lizards are plentyfull captive breed but with tree frogs, most of what you get would be wild caught unfortunately, but you can get captive breed but not in large no's.
at the minute plant wise i just use bormilliads & fake plants but i wana do more of a living plant set up. love ur pics, you got some nice frogs

Our forum creator John Claire is from Ireland. He may be able to help you persue your new obsession. I would contact him if you have trouble locating a species.

As far as plants, I have prayer plants in every viv, and snake plant. Others are peace lily, photos vine, birds nest fern, bamboo, broms, and corn plant. These are all good for climbing or sleeping plants, and easy growers. Hardest one is maybe the birds nest. Mine is browning a little.
