Our forum creator John Claire is from Ireland. He may be able to help you persue your new obsession. I would contact him if you have trouble locating a species.
As far as plants, I have prayer plants in every viv, and snake plant. Others are peace lily, photos vine, birds nest fern, bamboo, broms, and corn plant. These are all good for climbing or sleeping plants, and easy growers. Hardest one is maybe the birds nest. Mine is browning a little.
