    do you mean air circulation???

thats without the doors and the mesh top plus it has a hole in the bottom of it for a drainage layer once i stack it with hydro balls and substrate to provent the substrate getting water logged

Yes, is needed a low and high aeration.
To avoid that drosophile escapes there, I use of drosoproof gas.
Plants need that the air circulates a minimun around them. Otherwise they are going to rot.

    Low aération

    High aération

Actually, it depends which plant you will be having. Orchids will not do well without air circulation. But overall, with a good drainage system (false bottom and/or hydroballs) and an upper circulation, your plants should be just fine. I have two tanks with no aeration and my broms, ficus (pumilia and oak leaf), Philodendron Erubescens, Alocasia amazonica and even one where I have an orchid do just fine.

OK, I have friends who have terrariums without ventilation, and the window frontal and always full of condensation.
On the other hand as I have many orchids, I place them on patches of corks, and not directly on the xaxim. I am even obliged in certain terrariums to place small ventilators of computer.
In fact everything depends on what we want to make...

You are absolutely right for the condensation, Gould. It will be wet on the glass if you have no ventilation. Like you, I also use cork for the epiphyte I have to avoid rotting. Looking forward to seeing more of your vivs, Gould.

For the time being, let's give back the focus to Froggiestyle and his new tank!
