Talking Yay! Its a boy! I need help picking a name!

My Pacman Frog is a boy! Yay! I learn this on the exact day of one month since I got it! Now I need to figure out a name for him.

I made a species Youtube video that took me 3-4 hours to make. It was where I cut through over an hour of footage and turned it into 6 minutes, featuring mainly way-cool hunting parts in it. Feel free to check it out!
YouTube - Pacman Project; The Movie (Episode 1)[/URL]

    Here are some names I am considering so far (I don't want to setup a poll for this, but I do want imput);

Jabba - Big green alien guy from Star Wars
    Pros: Matches Pacman Discription
Cons: Name is used too often for Pacmans and Pyxies

Glamdring - A Sword from The Hobbit (means "Foe Hammer" in Elvish)
Pros: "Foe Hammer" would be a way cool name
    Cons: It just doesn't flow

    Max - A common duel-gender name
Pros: It is somewhat fitting now. My sister wants me to name it that
Cons: I had a Cichlid (fish) named Max, and it died from a strange diesase introduced from a LFS

Malcolm - A way cool name (btw, how do you spell Malcolm?)
    Pros: A way cool name
Cons: I don't know how to spell it yet

Jack - A common boys name
Pros: It is fitting. I like it.
Cons: My second best friend's dad's name was Jack, and he passed from Cancer.

I may come up with some more names later, but for now, what do you guys think? Feel free to make suggestions! Post which name you like best. I will post something similar to this thread on some of my fish forums, so I will have tons of imput.

    Thanks guys!

    Hey MeTree,

I love picking out names, and I liked how you sorted them with Pros/Cons as well.
You did spell Malcolm correctly, and that is a cool name.

    Here are a few suggestions:
    • Bolgar - Fiery dwarf warrior
    • Thor - God of thunder
    • Hugo - Mind, heart, or spirit
Good luck picking a name. And cute video, I found myself rooting for him to catch a cricket. I liked where it looked like the frog and cricket were staring each other down...lol

Out of the list, Bolgar and Glamdring are my favorites. Bolgar sounds more froggish to me.

Sorry I haven't been on here reciently. I have been super busy. I really like Malcolm, Glamdring, and Bolgar, but I am having trouble deciding.

I am really sad. My Pacman Frog hasn't eaten crickets in a very, very long time. It is acting very skiddish, and it is fading in color. What could be wrong with the little guy? I need to start a thread, but I will probably hold off on naming him until I get this problem resolved.

Oh no. Maybe he's stressed out about something?

I can't tell what is going on with the little guy. Here is a thread that I have started about my Pacman Frog's strage behavior. It doesn't have any replies, yet. Hopefully a Pacman expert can shine some light on something.

LOL, I wish I could. Right now the only thing my little guy is eating is Mealworms, and I don't like to feed him those more than 3 (mealworms) a week. He likes bright colored worms like Mealworms and Waxworms, but those make a terrible (meaning dangerous) staple diet.

I think I am going to see about getting some Phoenix worms. I am hoping a pet store chain has it, because I do not want to pay $20 for shipping for a $7 can of worms. It may come down to that, I don't know.
