My male red eye has been calling and (thanks to this forum!) I've been advised that he and my female may attempt to mate. I started reading up on the subject and I have come to the conclusion that he has nuptial pads and they seem to be all set, except for the rain chamber. I expected they might mate if I just misted heavily but I haven't seen them in amplexus. I posted about my female and a few of you thought she could be heavy with eggs.
I read the mating season is from October to March, do you think it's too late for me to construct a rain chamber and give it a shot?
You can always try and see what happens. First time I bred them was in April two years ago.
