i say "starting" to like, but i have always loved toads really, just only started hand feeding them recently, which as chris says, creates emotional ties. One of the south american toads tried amplexus with my hand when i picked it up, very strong! They are much more relaxed with me than at first.
Hello john, I still love my caudates though!

I hand or tong feed mine in a Sterilite box, strictly to avoid any risk of impaction issues.
Welcome aboard! There are quite a few "Toad freaks" around here.
Watching FrogTV because it is better when someone else has to maintain the enclosure!
Welcome Samuel
Please post some pics of your toads.![]()
I believe the toads to be Bufo fowleri.
I'll put sum pics up soon. I wasn't sure if they were B. americanus or B. fowleri, until i compared the calls, sounds very much like B. fowleri.
Anaxyrus (Bufo) fowleri are North American, not South American, as is A. americanus. Both species live in my neck of the woods.
i didn't even realize those species were north american :0 , i used websites with pictures and call sounds to identify them
