Recently, I heard that a multi-state salmonella outbreak was traced back to an ADF breeder in California. I thought that the salmonella was a result of coming in contact with the "frog water" and not the frogs themselves. People who keep aquatic frogs make sure you don't clean the aquarium in the kitchen or where food is being prepared, wash your hands thoroughly after cleaning and don't let young children (under 5) or people with poor immune systems come in contact these frogs. If we all use a little common sense, we will not give the crazy bureaucrats a reason to ban the keeping of frogs as pets.
