Hi Guys, Here are the pics of Waaq Padda. Im sure he's male but, I'm not sure if he's a giant... I've been told he could be a giant from another area. Mozambique? I've read recently that there are more than just the 2 types of Pixies ( Giant and Dwarf ) common to the trade market and and they get mixed in together all the time and labeled as one type of frog. Could explain why there is so many different opinions and veins of information.
Anyway, I'd really like to hear the opinions of the people on this forum so, Have at it.
Thanks,
Roman
Ps. I also added a pic of his enclosure. The substrate is the Sphagnum Moss and its about 4-6 inches deep depending. I made a shelter out of cork bark and there is a pool of water for him to soak in. Usually however, He buries himself in the moss and Stevie Biggins, my female, submerges herself in the water. Is that a gender thing?

Great looking Dwarf. Yes definitely is a dwarf. About the burying and water bowl thing, it depends on the frog. One of my ABF's stays in the water dish all the time, but the other stays burrowed.
I like your setup-mine is plain jane compared to yours, but yours is much nicer to look at for the viewing public. I think yours is a male, and I would have to agree wtih TJ that it does not look like a Giant. Still a very handsome frog, though. What is his s-v-l? As for their habits, my one male sits in his water dish constantly, my other male stays buried 98% of the time, and my female is 50/50. That's why I love these frogs-each one is unique.
Your frog is definitely a male, i'm saying that cuz of the yellow on his throat. I have two male dwarfs got them by accident. Anyways, all they do is sit on the dock i have for them sometimes they burrow. I do not have a female, i wish i did =[
Hey Guys, His S-V-L is 4.5 inches. I got him about 3 months ago and he was 4 then. He has definitely grown widerThanks for confirming his Dwarf status, He is a way cool frog and I just want to know as much about him as possible.
