Hi everyone,

I've been an avid reptile and amphibian enthusiast, and herper, since I was about eight years old growing up in Minnesota. Now I live in Northern California and the passion still runs deep.

Just got back from Loch Ness in the Scottish highlands--didn't see Nessie, but it was without questions a memorable experience.

I've been toying with getting a few African bullfrogs, but am going to continue doing some research--from what I understand, breeding is very difficult to achieve in captivity.

Anyhow, just going to enjoy the forum.

Sounds like you had a fabulous trip! I have always wanted to take a trip to Scottland...I have some Scottish blood and it is where my redhair comes from.

I also lived in MN, was born there, and now live in Northern CA as well. Where in CA are you? Do you currently have frogs or looking to just get African bullfrogs?

Ahhh...yes, Scotland was a great place--especially Edinburgh! The company I work for sent me to Ireland for a couple months, which is where I am now (Kinsale), so it's been fun to travel around a bit.

Wow, small world! You are from MN and live in CA now--crazy! I was born and raised in MN until I was 27, at which point I moved to CA (Sacramento), where I've been for almost six years. I see you're in Santa Cruze--I travel down to Cupertino a fair amount for work so know the area a little. Nice town for sure.
