Hello
I'm new this this forum. We have a 18"X18'X24" terrarium with 2 green tree frogs. One of them has seemed to swallow a piece of moss (ExoTerra forest moss) while he was eating crickets. It is sticking out about an inch out of his mouth so I tried to very gently pull it out to no avail. I don't want to hurt him so I didn't pull very hard. He keeps trying to pull it out himself too with his front legs. He is not looking so good, not very active and breathing heavy.
Any advice?
Thanks
Perhaps you could phone a herp vet and ask them if it would be ok to pull out. .that's the direction im heading because it sounds like if you do nothing she's stuck. Whether its going to hurt her pulling it out I can't say.. I suppose it depends on how long it is. I would definately change to a different substrate.
Yank that sucker out.
I had to twist the moss slowly to pull it out as if it knotted up and then it slid right out. Just do it so it doesn't become a problem coming out the other end

Thanks for the input guys! my fiance pulled it out no problem. I was too scared I'd yank out his innards or something. The frog is doing well now! I'll be changing out the moss
