can u feed them worms u find outside and wash them off or what? like are the ones u buy as bait best? let me know
You can, but I personally wouldn''t and never do. You're risking transmitting parasites and other toxins by feeding a WC prey item. Get your worms from a pet/bait shop and lower the risk tremendously.
I wouldn't go to a bait shop for crickets BTW We have a lot around here and they aren't meant to be feeders, they are meant to be bait and what I mean by that is they aren't kept in the cleanest places or fed the best things. I can understand the earthworms but if you are feeding crickets also I buy my feeders from Home - Live Crickets Shipped Superworms Mealworms, Wax Worms, Phoenix Worms 30680 its cheaper in the long run if you have more than one herp. Just my personal opinion though.
