    Default Black frog

    Hi,

    I'm curious... Is there a frog that is completely black out here? I know some tincts are almost all black, with little yellow.

    Would there be a specie that is solely black?

    Thanks,

    Eric

    HAHAHA! I do Mike. You're dead on. But this one is really out of curiosity. And the thought came while looking at the bright yellow of the terribs: Is there a black equivalent?

    But 2011 will be the year of the terribs. My next frogs will be Orange and Mint terribs.

    Some tiger legs get real dark. Not quite back, but close. Look at Joshs site. They look cool like that, and I beleive it's based on genetics. Kisa's are a blue green, from Mike Navoy

    There are locale specific black auratus that are all black, there are lemon drop sauls tincs that come out all black from time to time as well as melanistic red eyes. Darkland pumilio as well as a couple others. There is an all black galact Ive heard.

    Some days they look bluer than others Ginger, especially Apollo. XD Sometimes I wonder if Mike sent me the wrong frogs...>>; Just kidding! XD;

    But yeah Eric, good question, that would be good information to have, since lately I have become fascinated by darts.

    Mannophryne trinitatis.
    Well, he's not always solely black, but the males become black while calling.
    Nice species.
