    Default New 18x18x24 vent qwestion

So my brother in law works for a glass company and was nice enough to get some glass for me,,,free But its glass cut for making a tank with no door. i thought about spliting the top by three and and having a 12 inch hinged lid with 6 inch of screen. would this be enough of a ventilation for Red-Eyed Tree Frog?

I don't know the right answer to the question, but I have a zoo med 18x18x24 and the top is all screen. However I cover about 3/5 of it with a towel to keep the humidity from escaping too much. I'm interested in hearing about how much ventelation screen there should be too.

It definately would be enough since when you open the front door you allow a small air change also. Since I open to mist twice daily and once to feed or clean up it gets planty of air exchange.

My Exo-Terra is also only open about 1/3 of the top.
Note that there is a thin vent across the front of Exo and Zoo Meds, but not sure if create much air flow.
