It's very interesting the different pyxie "localities". The pyxies from Botswana really catch my eye. Most of the captive bred pyxies here in the U.S. are from South African descendants.

They are the same size as the P. adspersus

I agree Daniel, It would be great if they were to get some in the pet trade.
