    Default Ugg. overwhelmed

    ok so i dont know. i got my pacman. he looks healthy. poops and all...but is burried 24/7. he hasnt eaten yet but offer large and small crickets and theres always the same ammount in the morning.,.. temps are 80 to 88 degrees and 70% humidity usually. i have a dome lamp. but idk it hard to keep humidity up in thise cage hes in...i herd plastic tubs work great...i have on i used to have crickets in but dont breed anymore so i have an extra. ide say 35 to 40 quart. think i could put him in their and put an undertank heater in their? other then that i mean i know thye burrie for days at a time but he goes under for weeks then i unburrie to make sure hes still alive. any tips or help would be awsome...just really worried...and overwhlmed. like it not fun ownening one when i am this stressed out over it. these guys are sure harded to take care of then my other herps. least bearded dragons u can tell if somthing is wrong...with these guys they put on a tought face. so the plastic tub i have dosnt have the screen in the middle but instead rowes of holes going across...i could do the screen in the middle if needed...i also i a 5 gallon uth. i hope that will work

    If the frog is pooping, then he has to be eatting something. You may need to figure that out.
    I don't have much experience with pacman's but what was he/she fed prior to you receiving the frog?

    I would post pics of the tank/enclosure and frog in case someone sees something right off the bat that would cause any issues.

    well i did post pics earler and my guess is its too hot on the one side where the water is...i just dont know. lol. maybe a uth on the warm side and tin foil over the top half idk...but i can only get temps of 85 with a uth on the warm side and that sucks the humidity right out of the air...i guess ill try the tube and see if thats ok. cuse it holds moister better and i can prolly just uth on the one side

    How wet is your substrate? Don't they like to bury down in the moist bottom? Like I said, I'm not a Pacman keeper, nut would think if the soil was wet and the ambient temp was 80 and the top was mostly covered, you would have a good amount of humidity.

    Dons right, humidity is probably fine-- they bury, that's what they do best.

    oh yeah i misted it. and switched to a starlite container hes moving around and diging...seems good
