Thanks Mike, Cheri, and Thomas!! Oh my, I need a laptop! And a camera over 8 pixels. The detail in these guys can only he apreciated by the human eye, or a 300$ camera. Camera on the phone is my only mode of sending Picts-- again sorry. When they grow the Picts will look better!! Lol
Ginger, congrats! I can see them in your new pictures. How are they doing? And how are YOU doing?![]()
Thanks Eric, I'm good. Missing boy came out early to hunt. And I felt better then
Well my little male(guess) is almost sleeping upside down to get to glass with the light on it. I know I've been told to keep them cooler, it's 78 in there now and 70 at night. But I think I'll creep up to 80, as he seems to want more warmth. Midway up the tank the humidity is at 80%, so it maybe a lil dryer where they are.
I've seen the poop, but I think it's the females, as it's on her side of the viv. The male looks thin to me still, and although I've seen him hunt, I want to fatten him up. Her hip bones no longer show as sharp. We'll see if she poops again soon.
Crickets keep drowndibg in pool dispite it having 3 ways to climb out. They're so small I guess. And after misting Sim and Ool climbed in water droplets, maybe too young to bathe. So I'm going to eliminate the pool and temporarly turn it into a feeding bowl.
Any other sugestions?
I would follow Mike's suggestion and not go over 78. Also keep a water bowl for soaking. True pin head crickets can drown in simple waterdrops..just clean out the bodies the next day.
just an update
Both are filling out and growing. 1/4 an inch in growth in just two weeks!!
Sim and Ool are almost an inch and a 1/4 now. Color changes from mint, to blue, to teal, to blush, to purple to bruise colored. Totaly amazing, and so awesome.
Anyone else get some of these?
That's awsome Mike!! I'm so gratefull for any info on these, as there nothing on the net!!!
Glad to hear your frogs are doing well. Keep us posted.
Very happy for you and your frogs, Ginger!
I can't wait to see how your frogs mature and grow Ginger, I'm happy you're all enjoying each other!![]()

I'm thinking about changing my snake back into his 33, as he doesn't use all if his 75, or building 2 tanks. One 100 gal fir the wtfs, and one for the annae, what would be minimal fir them? 55? 75?
And my i say thanks again to Mike and Tony. As they are the obeswith experiance with these guys. I know Tony said his is in a 6' viv. But that was for breeding right?
I would go with the 55, or larger if you can. Whether you plan to breed or not they are very large, very active frogs and will appreciate the space.
