Ornate horned frogs mating... outdoors

I received a pair of Ornate Horned frogs from Jela Phat Phibs. A very healthy pair. I have them in an outdoor rain chamber to try breeding. Here is a brief video showing their interaction and Thomas calling to Clarabelle. Kinda fun.

Oh my gosh. This is hilarious! I guess he shouldn't have spent so much time lounging in his water dish and should have hit the weights! I knew he'd go for it, just didn't realize how much trouble his tubby butt would have! haha I love it. Thank you so much for sharing Jeff. (and for keeping the names!!)

Well, I had super high hopes, but have had no eggs laid. It has been fun listening to Thomas start to call when he is not clasped to Clarabelle. And the whole neighborhood can hear that call! My neighbors thought I had a new 'bird' in a cage out back. LOL

I have had almost no natural rain showers. We are going thru a killing drought once again. I think this week is supposed to bring a few small showers.
