Cheri, I want to personally thank you for being this present on this board. When I first joined, it was the friendliness and the experts opinions that grab me. I know we all have our lives and realities, but in the past few weeks, I have seen and read mostly posts by one moderator: you. Ebony and the people from Christchurch had an awful ordeal to deal with, and I'm sure other moderators have their own stories.
But you have kept this board alive, at least, I feel this way. You have maintained high quality posts, informative threads, you have been so ever present when it comes to current and future contests, and have continued to be friendly. And the here and there personal messages with an encouraging words sent my way didn't hurt either...
I'm sure a lot of members feel the same as me. And we don't take enough time to thank and show our appreciations.... So I hope this little feedback hits the spot.
As for the others, please, join me, and share your appreciation, to Cheri, or even any others if you feel it should be said out loud.
Eric
PS: Ok. This may sound like a huge a*s-kissing thread... It's not. The only a*s I kiss is the woman I had a child with. You make a huge difference on this board, Cheri. And you're one of the main reasons why this board is successful.
PS2: I will bump this until this thread bursts with lots of thank you notes to you.
I will second Eric's thoughts!

As always your mileage may vary!
I may or may not know what I'm talking about!
Why thank you Eric I do my best. I think we have a great Forum here. We're respectful of each other and we're all here to learn. It takes the effort of each and every member here to make it great. It does take time. Im always looking for new ways to get people involved and share their frog experiences. It also doesn't have to stop here on the forum..people could meet up at shows or do a frog road trip like Kisa and I did. Just helping someone go out and get a new frog was great fun for me and part of the reason I joined into this frog community. So I will continue to run contests and look for new ways to encourage people to participate. I thank everyone for all that they do and the time and effort that they put into it. To me its all about sharing our passion for frogs with others who feel the same way.
I will definitely join in on this thank you thread. Cheri has done so much for me lately I can't imagine not thanking her! Thanks for driving all the way out to pick me up and then all the way to Escondido to pick up those frogs, thanks for adding to my "frog family", thanks for setting up the misting system and making the tank as comfortable for them as possible, thanks for being on the forum as much as you are and sharing your insight and experience with others, thanks for answering all my dumb questions and putting up with me for three and a half hours...
But above all, thanks for being a truly awesome and amazing person. I really benefitted from our time spent together, and I hope in the future we can have more froggie road trips! Maybe some day I'll be able to drive you....
Thanks to Eric for starting this thread, I feel like it's a great way to show our appreciation to a great moderator and person.![]()

I 2nd that, but then I feel the same about Eric as well. He was the first guy to greet me and I'm not even a frog owner yet. He has also helped me along in finding people who may send me some frogs from the States to here in South Africa.
So yip, it is all about the great people here! Thanks to both of you!
Eric, I always say a thing like I see it, no holds barred (which obviously lands me in the dog box more often than not! LOL) so yeah, I meant what I have said!
Thanks, I'm waiting to hear from Mark and Elaine to see whether they can't give us some help from their side too!
Yes, this is one of the most friendly, active, and informative board in cyberspace.
Cheri, Besides, leading so many threads and creating such interest in getting or making people want to return to post and read, your always one of the first to step up and offer help to anyone and everyone.
Don
PS: There are many great people here. Although you may not see them post as routinely due to personal issues and work schedules, they always seem to step up when needed.

Cheri has done a great contest, and gotten people active in threads and definately deserves some Kudos!
But we also need to remember and give thanks to ALL the other moderators that have also done a great deal, and many may not know that the moderators are not PAID! This is out of their own personal time and love for FROGS!![]()
So I give a BIG applause to EVERYONE!
This Forum would not be what it is today without their personal hard work, commitment, and long hours. Being Positive, Informative, and Non-judgemental are some things that make this Forum Great! And, of course, all those FROGS!!!
Keep it up you guys! We love you, and you don't get all the props you deserve!
~Lesley
Well said Lesley. Same goes to the members here, those who are not mods, but are constantly here helping out, and doing their best to answer, those same ones that have other jobs...
Everyone deserves a hand. But Cheri has been the superstar during these last few months. She kept things alive, and I thank her for it.
I agree she has gone above and beyond the call of duty, and I really appreciate that. Lately, its been hard to get the time to get on here, and when I do I am over whelmed by the number of posts. At one time I used to read ALL posts. I can't do that any more. And I know John is pretty much in the same boat these days. So thanks to Cheri again for all she has done.
PS To those that want me to read their posts make them short and sweet. Long posts make my eyes glaze over these days.
Great job, Cheri! Your commitment, insight and willingness to help tackle any issue is a definite asset to this Forum!Every single member makes this Forum great, and that is why we have the best Forum ever!!
