Hello!
I had a question about my little milk frog that is kind of concerning me because I haven't seen this before with any of my other frogs, and I'm a bit worried that he might be impacted.
He is very small, and is usually plump and healthy looking, and very active at night, but somedays he looks really puffy and is slow to move, or doesn't move at all at night. This on and off, but the thing that is concerning me that most is that when I had to get him out to clean up the cage a bit, right before I put him in a spare container, he peed on my hand, and it was just a trickle. I'm not sure about everyone else, but when my other frogs pee, it is kind of powerful you know? I mean, I don't know if that is normal or not for baby frogs, and I can't remember when my dumpy was that little if the same thing happened, but it made me worried because he was puffed up at the time. I haven't found any more poop in his container since the first month I had him, and I'm just starting to wonder if something serious might be happening?
Also: He is in a 10 gallon tank with a log and plenty of fake plants, I clean his water every day, I use spring water. The temp in his cage is between 70-80 degrees and the humidity is around 80-85. I mist him twice a day (in the morning and at night) with spring water. He is still eating as well. I feed him dusted crickets every other day and a waxworm about once a week. His substrate is frog moss on top of coconut fiber.
If there is any information I left out about his habitat that can help, let me know![]()
