its probably so long because the pacific northwest has such great rainfall and temperate climate that it is really condusive to invasive species explosions, it rains more than its sunny here and only snows like once or twice a year.

And andersonii has always been one of my obsessions. H. chinensis is a nice substitute where they are legal, cool little frogs. JVK

They are great pets and available for next to nothing. I recently saw them on kingsnake for $1.79 each in quantity. I'm surprised WA allows them, they are one of the many species we can't have in OR.
