Kurt, thanks for the suggestions, and damnit what a huge bummer if it is illegal to own those over here in washington.. i really love tree frogs with appearances similar to the pacific chorus frogs, all of mine are brown no matter what kind of setup i use or even if i catch them green, they always become brown over a few months (not that they dont look great brown!) so, for once i am dying to have something similar that is green, + housing a few 'non cookie cutter frogs' is always excited, and new!

its probably so long because the pacific northwest has such great rainfall and temperate climate that it is really condusive to invasive species explosions, it rains more than its sunny here and only snows like once or twice a year.

And andersonii has always been one of my obsessions. H. chinensis is a nice substitute where they are legal, cool little frogs. JVK
