I have heard others are keeping them together. Just keep observing them. Maybe you should try breeding!

I might try breeding them. But I am still a noob to be honest and I heard there has been little luck getting these guys to breed in captivity. If they do it on their own, sweet. If not... That is fine. But I want to build them the ultimate naturalistic setup. I love doing that stuff.
The dude I always talk to at the pet store said that they were always together. They were huddled up together wherever they were in the tank. I haven't seen anything yet that would make me think they are going to munch each other but I will keep an eye out for that now.
Good luck! You will probably be fine. I love mine. I have him in a 56 gallon. I had thought of adding a female, but I was so nervous when I heard females eat the males. I'm still debating.

I think you should just go for it. I wish there were more captive bred Megos available.
