He guys this is my first live enclosure. Any extra tips or advice would be great. Im using a 20gal custom cage. I have a screen door front that I used to replace the glass to give it some open air. I ordered my plants from LLLreptile they came today.
This is what I got about $100 worth of stuff. I had to make two setups as it was to much for one.
Small Ficus Tree (live) 6" Pot
This one has more green coloration
Live Bromeliads
Tillandsias
The Earth's Star Plant - Cryptanthus bivittatus
Hydro Balls
This is what I came up with

Great plant selection. From the look of your plants are you going to be keeping one of the tree frog varieties?
1.2.0 Dendrobates tinctorius 'Azureus'
1.1.0 Dendrobates Lamasi 'Orange'
1.1.0 Dendrobates Ventrimaculatus 'Understory Line'
0.3.0 Dendrobates leucomelas
--------------------------------------------------
As always your mileage may vary!
I may or may not know what I'm talking about!
Wow great set up, I'm sure whatever frog you put in there will be happy. There are plenty of things to climb and to hide in. Great job.
0.0.2 Litoria caerulea

Love the plants! Set ups look neat as well.
Ps, did you buy all of the earth star's? Guess who's placing an order tomorrow! Tehe
Very nice. Keep the Air Plants where they only get watered twice a week since that is when they do their best. I really like the Broms too.
The earth stars always look awesome in a viv and definitely like moist soil.
1.0.0 Red Eyed Leaf/ Frog - Agalychnis callidryas
1.1.1 Bumblebee Dart Frog - Dendrobates leucomelas
1.1.0 Dendrobates truncatus - Yellow Striped
1.1.1 Dendrobates tinctorius – Bakhuis Mountain
1.1.0 - Dendrobates tinctorius - Powder Blue
1.1.0 - Ranitomeya vanzolinii
Holly **** but you guys are SO LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I had to purchase the same amount of plants here in South Africa, in Nelspruit - my home town to be more exact, I would most probably look at spending close to US $ 250-00 and that is for the plants alone - forget about the clay balls! Broms are selling at just over a $ 14-00 a piece, Ficus @ $ 10-00 and so on. If we can get the air plants...IF...they are selling at $ 20-00 a piece! So yeah...I'm so jealous!
Thanks guys this was a really fun project to work on and looks very cool with my other setups. As for the inhabitants I'm not 100% sure yet I will be attending the Long Island Reptile Expo on Sunday so I hope to pick up some red eye tree frogs maybe. I ordered 4 earth stars they were only 2.99 each. LLLreptile really picked some nice plants as Im sure they will do the same for you the packaging was also very good. I had a 15lb box I placed the order took 5 days to get here. Donlisk thanks for the tip on the air plants. For my bedding I used 30% organic soil 30%coco plantation 30%moss 10%jungle mix. I never ordered plants before I did not need everything for this set up I used the left over plants for another viv for a chameleon.

A jacksons chameleon would flourish in that setup. Or an ambilobe panther. adult veiled may be too big for how thickly planted that is. Hopefully by the end of summer I have some baby jacksons!
thanks I will update after the expo as its 6 hours away and of course I cant sleep
These are gorgeous plants!
