Lights for RETF...

Hello from Turkey,
i need a help buying lights for RETF. And also need a heat pad ? İ have a exo terra 45x45x60 terrarium.and which subs. Great for them.thanks.

I use the repti glow 2.0 for lighting.

If you need at heat source to keep you around 75-78 use the side mounting heat mats that stick onto the glass just make sure you keep it on a thermostat to not overheat your frogs. Don't use heat lamps they can dry out the tank too much.

As far as the substrate goes I recommend coco fiber which is digestible if they accidentally swallow it. Then I place a sheetmoss or leaf litter over it so the soil doesn't stick to their skin. JOSHS FROGS sells a really nice sheet moss and one bag of it would probably be fine for your tank size.

Im sorry...the temps should be 23- 26 celcius. I keep mine right around 26 with a few degree drop at night. Oh...and welcome to Frog Forum. Why don't you post a picture of your frogs when you get a chance.

Exo terra substrate which is the best for RETF.Because i only find exo terras substrate in Turkey.And for night can i use moonglow lights also ?

Mine will not wake up with the moonglo light on. Try turning it on after they have been up for awhile.
