I would definitely try and go with the crickets if I were you, no matter how small the frogs are. just get the smallest crickets you can find. Babies grow fast and will need all the vitamins they can get. I started off feeding my baby White's crickets that were just a bit too big for him and now he eats nearly 15 small crickets every two days, and sometimes 10 a night! He's grown a whole inch since I picked him up a month ago, and is on his way to becoming the right size to introduce to the other tank.
You have a separate tank for your babies right? You should not house new arrivals with already established frogs. Besides the fact that your older frog could see your younger frogs as food items, if your new frogs came with illnesses they could pass to your already established animal or vice versa. The quarantine period is a minimum of 30 days, and that may seem like forever now, but it'll go fast, promise. ^ ^
