Hello everyone, i bought a green tree frog about a year ago, when i bought it was a brown color, and hasn't changed since, there is a another green with him, but he's a new addition, so i doubt hehas anything to do with it. Sometimes it will start to turn green, but after it eats it turns brown again, he eats 3-4 crickets everyday, and has no other health problems................so whats wrong
You shouldn't stress so much about its brownish color. Mine is almost always brown, and once in awhile, when it's on leafage, some green will come out. But because I have lots of wood, it tends to keep brown. In general, changing shades of colors is a normal for these. If your frog is eating well, and seems to be active at night, you shouldn't worry.
thank you clownfire, it just bothers me that he's brown all the time and the other one is always green (ecxept for nightime)
i was just looking at him(right after the post i put on like 30 seconds ago) he was actually a matallic silver color with spots of green
