    Default Pacman Help

Greetings all, new to these forums (as in a few minutes ). I have read over a lot as there is quite the wealth of information here, so figured this would be the best place to go to have whatever questions I have answered.

As I am not new to reptiles or amphibians (I research into all new pets before I take the plunge) and I am really only inexperienced with this breed - have only had my lil pacman for about a week now (named Hypnotoad). As I answer questions on my other animals and always want as much info as I can get, I shall give you as much as I can before I ask

My Pacman is currently ~1.5" (on the plus side) and I got it (I figure its to young to sex) from a reputable breeder in the area.

It is currently living in a 30gallon rubbermaid container with three inches of ExoTerra's plantation soil. Has a half log acting as a hide and a smaller container that I empty and refill every day with de-chlorinated water (I let it sit over night - I do not use a treater). To heat the tank I have a heat pad attached to the side and a night lamp (50W) hitting the wall so that there is no direct heat source. The numbers are 83 on the warm side and 74 on the cool side, water dish is on the warm side and sits around 80. The humidity in the tub sits around 70 (the tub does get direct sun light early and the morning and these numbers do fluctuate a bit because of it).

    Now my question:
I was told that pacman are voracious feeders (hence their nicknames) but my little one has not eaten since coming home with me. It has moved around the tub (exploring its new home would be my guess) and I have offered it a variety of foods (crickets, meal worms, silk worms and a feeder fish). I know that animals sometimes take a while to get used to their new home; so is this something I should be worried about?

    Cheers

No, you have nothing to worry about. They usually take about just over a week or so to settle down before taking somethong to eat. And it sound like your keep your frog in a good enviroment so theres nothng to worry about
