Default My leaf frog question again

Could he be missing the other leaf frog that he was living with in the pet shop?He looks a bit " lost"
Hubby asked me this morning if he was lonely,I obviously researched this and asked members on here but I feel really bad now and wonder if I should go back and get the other one????What do you think????

I feel they would do better in pairs. My Red Eye never came out until I added a second and now they come out as soon as the room goes dark.

    YES, YES, YES!!!

It does take them a little while to feel comfortable and settle in a new home. But I do think that he may definately be missing his tank mate. I'm assuming it was another male. AND that is a great excuse to go back and get the other one!

Hurry before it's gone from the petstore!!!! (But no pressure).

"Lonely" is not the most accurate description since amphibians do not have the brain structure to be able to experience emotions in the way a mammal does. In my experience they will be just fine living alone, but keeping groups stimulates a wide range of interesting behaviors that you are unlikely to see in a lone specimen.
