    Question Little worried

I’m a little worried about one of my little guys getting a bit bloated. He’s been the largest and fattest one since he was a froglet, and I always assumed he was just naturally big boned lol, but still I can’t help worrying and blah blah whatever… you feel me.
Anyway I’ve been bored, so I took some pics and a short vid… could someone please verify if I should get this checked out, or if I should stop being b*tch

Here is a link to the vid of me trying to get some good angles:

Hahaha that's nothin! My White's is fatter than that, ALL the time. He doesn't seem to loose any weight, even though I've had him on a diet for more than two months now. He may be a little smaller than he was when I first got him, but visually he seems no different.

When I first got him he was ill, so I took him to the vet. He has a badly swollen leg and for a few days after I noticed this, seems very bloated. I'll post some pictures of what I'm talking about below. Kurt saw one of these photos and said he may be retaining water, and off and on throughout his sickness I noticed he would have days where he was of normal size and days where he was bloated in this manner. In fact, yesterday I noticed he looked a bit bloated in this way and so far it's not worrying me because every time I have seen it before it has just mysteriously disappeared. It doesn't look quite the same as your frog, in fact yours looks completely healthy to me.

    Here're the pictures:

This one is from his first bout with the infection...

And this was a little while later after I thought he was healing. He was constipated for a while (and is again now) so I was putting him in a lot of warm soaks, this could be why he was bloated. Just thought I'd share so you could get a good look at what "bloated" means to me. XD

Hope this has helped to ease your mind. ^ ^

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes when I look at Bruce I can't help but become paranoid that maybe he isn't as healthy as I thought, but I don't have any /real/ reasons. We've been through it before, so it's just a little lingering dread.

I wonder if anyone else has experienced this bloating this before. Bruce seems to stay away from his water bowl when he's like this, and in a few days the bloat seems to go away and he returns to his normal self. He has been extra lazy lately, compared to how he was acting a week or so ago. I started a thread about how he was throwing himself into the glass doors of his viv and knocking himself silly...but I digress.

I'm glad I could ease your mind. XD I hope my guy's weird streak goes away soon too.
