Silocone question

Hey guys, I have check many threads over here and find them very useful. i do not get the silicone part though. where can i buy the silicone used to make the "skeleton" of the vivarium? and what brands are there? i know that we use the silicone first and wait till it dries before applying handi-foam. just another nweb question

Hi, Ginger informed you well. You can apply the foam directly on the glass. You then use Silicone to stick your substrate on the foam (coconut husk/junglemix, whatever you use). I use GE Silicone II personally, in brown color. Apply substrate before silicone cures, too!

i used GE silicon II. (black&grey). but i didnt apply it first, but with the dirt. i mixed it into a mudd and smeared it like plasture.it was messy and wasteful though in my opinion. *sigh* but it gave of a cool effect because i could press in more dry eco earth to give it a tutone effect. if your interested in that you can check my viv build thread.
