Sounds good, just make sure there is plenty of ventilation, as treefrogs do much better that way.
Hi,
first of all: sorry for my bad english...
my name is isaac i have experience with reptiles and with the white's tree frog...
my question:
i have a terrarium that i am building with te dimensions of: 100cm x 100cm x 40.cm
i am still working on it but i have come to the point where i have to chose a frog or animal species to keep in that terrarium.
i was thinking to begin at a tree frog since it is a verry high terrarium...
more specific i was thinking at the red eyed tree frog...
but i dont know that is a good option to chose.
i want to know what you all think about this project...![]()
Sounds good, just make sure there is plenty of ventilation, as treefrogs do much better that way.
i am building it with a top with 70% of ventilation with really fine wire gauze and there will be an extra ventilation part under the doors so i hope that will be enough!![]()
That should be good.
Well, am still thinking about a spiecies to place in the 105gallon terrarium...
I was thinking at a spiecies that you can see (not all the day of course) and i was thinking at the milky tree frog...
If you guys know more interesting species that arent at the pro level of difficulty please let me know!![]()
Milk frogs are beautiful frogs and would be perfect. Why don't you show us step by step photos as you build your tank.
Uploading a photo right now!
And i hope that i can buy some milky tree forgs when my terrarium is finished!
Ok Isaac now I am intrigued. You have got to share with us what you're working on and how you're doing it. Would you mind starting a thread in the vivarium section and giving us some step by step details? Seems like you have the photos now if you could just explain some of the details, what kind of materials, etc. Also please check out the contest we are having. It can be found in the vivarium section as well. It would be great if you would participate.
ow, thanks but its not a project where i work on all the time, i sometimes just stop building at it beacouse i dont know wich species i will integrate and i want that the species that will live in there will live there life!
and it has almost been a month or 6 since the last time i did something about it...
but i think the contest will only accelerate the process and make it better than ever before!
If you read through the contest rules the project doesn't have to be complete. You've already done enough with just your background alone. If you have the time why don't you make a thread and explain how you did it. You've already got the photos. You're already there...just lay it out for us. We want details and the process of how you did it.
new post is made!
