as far as the blood by his but, could be impacted. Beware the food size u are giving him. Small crickets are much easier to digest, the shell isn't as hard. Seems like u have his waking schedule down, so an hour or two before wake up time put hot water in his bowl, this will cool before he gets up. It should cool to your viv temp and help him pass any poop. Watch for like hemroids, bulging alchola(*sp) this is a medical emergency.
Ok well its the next afternoon sorry guys I'm not a morning person lol...anyways he woke up a little late last night and I saw him walk down to the bottom and he stayed down there for a few hours even fell asleep too when I just woke up I found him on top of the tank and there was poop down at the bottom too ...is there any way I can put a picture of the poop so u guys can tell me if its ok without grossing anyone out ??? The crickets I bought are really small I even had to tape the side of my tank doors with tape because they are small enough to fit thru the sides...
Nikki I just finished looking at your pictures and I have to to say that scab does look bad. I would treat it with just a little neosporin for a couple days and see if that helps it heal and get rid of bacteria. Hopefully by now you've lowered humidity. Unfortunately you cannot always trust the people in the pet stores, they may look intelligent and speak nice but 9 times out of 10 they have no idea what they're talking about. The people in my local pet store keep large turtles in cages that are small to the point where the turtle can't even turn around, this is just one example of the cruelty they're capable of.
If you've lowered humidity I'd say your next step is grabbing some plants like Cheri has suggested. These will make him feel safer and more secure, since he is wild caught, this will probably calm him down significantly. Another thing you can do is tape pieces of paper to the outside sides of the tank to keep him from seeing out for the first few weeks. This will reduce stress substantially. I have done this will all my frogs but the very first one, Ginger here gave me the idea after I had already had my first frog for a while. So far it has worked to great success, it makes the frogs feel safer and keeps you from spying on them all the time, which trust me is fun, but it can lead more stress can lead to serious health problems. Fake plants are fine, just make sure they're big enough that he can stand on them without tipping them over, Exo Terra makes good ones. I use a fake Exo Terra fern in my ten gallon for my baby WTF and he seems to enjoy it. Also maybe some more hanging plants will help him to feel safer as well. Just provide more places for him to hide and he should stop trying to escape.
I'm sure if you posted a picture of the poop no one would get grossed out, but unless the signs of parasites or other illnesses are obvious, I don't think we'll be able to tell much from a picture.

Hey well I went the petsmart and bought a bag of pothos (fake) and wrapped it around the lil climbing trunk I gotta say there is a lot more space for him to hide now I'm not sure If I'll ever see him lol...it looks full now Like an actual rain forest ..I bought the neosporin without pain relief and put some on his nose ...when I tried to pick him up to put him elsewhere while I clean the tank he started jumping everywhere and once I grabbed him he peed on my ( what does that mean when they pee on you) I washed my hands afterwards of course but just curious...thanks for all the help you guys I really appreciate it..I will post pics soon I'm mobile right now cuz my internet is down but I will soon and you guys can tell me what you think....once again thanx
The urinating is a fear response. My White's used to do it all the time when I would pick him up to move stuff around in his tank or bring him to the vet. Once they get used to you they should stop doing that when you have to pick them up. Do you have a critter keeper for him? I would buy one of those and put him in it when you're cleaning his tank or treating his nose. You can cover the sides with paper towels while he's in there so you don't scare him. My White's would let me cover him with a piece of the paper towel and go to sleep there during car rides, it makes them feel safer.
If the noserub doesn't go away within a week or less I would stop treating him with the neosporin and look up a vet in your area. Also take a good look at his eyes when you bring him out, if you see any cloudiness this could be a sign of infection. You're doing good so far, it's good if you don't see him for the first few weeks while he gets used to you. Hopefully he'll stop trying to escape and give you an indication that he feels safe with you.

Yeah I have a small tank for him to put him in while I clean...his eyes are fine big bright red eyes ....no cloudiness....I just found out that my red eye is farm raised what does that mean ...they told me it was cb....I can't believe they lied....what does farm raised mean
Unfortunately I am pretty new to the hobby as well and am not sure about ALL the terminology yet, so I don't know what Farm Raised could mean. I'm sorry to hear that you have to deal with this sort of service. It's never fun to be jerked around.
That's good that there is no cloudiness. Just try to leave him alone until it's time to apply the medicine, give him a quick once over and put him back in the tank as quickly as possible. try to do this at night after he wakes up on his own, you shouldn't be waking him up forcefully, especially during the day.
