He finally climbed out of the water, and has been latched onto the side of the cage since then. I drained most of the water, still left a few little pools with rocks in them. The bottom of his cage is moist sand. He still had a little nub of a tail, but he's still tiny (his body is smaller than a dime) and I dont know what to start feeding him. The cage I have would be easy for fruit flies to get out of. I'm planning on getting a large aquarium for him once he gets a bit older but for now this is all I have:
So I'm wondering a few things, what should I feed him? Should I begin feeding him bugs now?
And also what would the best setup be for his new cage? What should I put on the bottom, and do these type of frogs like to swim, or are they land frogs that just need water to drink? Anything else I should know in order for him to grow into a happy healthy adult frog?
